In an emotional ceremony of honors held at the central base of Civil Protection and Firefighters, which was attended by authorities, family members, friends and elements of this municipal agency, the work of firefighter Israel Pérez Salvatierra was recognized and honored, who died this June 24th in the city of Guadalajara.

On behalf of the interim municipal president, Jorge Antonio Quintero Alvarado, the secretary general of the City Council, Francisco Vallejo Corona attended, who offered his condolences to the family on behalf of the municipal government. He highlighted that it is a sad day also for the Civil Protection colleagues because of the loss of this member, who served in a corporation that always cares for all Vallarta citizens.

On behalf of the municipal government, he expressed solidarity and support for both his wife and his children, wishing them a speedy recovery from this unfortunate loss.

Adrián Bobadilla García, director of Civil Protection and Firefighters, pointed out that Israel's passion for service will continue to be alive and present among his colleagues, guiding them in their steps and dispelling the darkness and doubts faced by those who serve others.

“We firmly believe that you are present in this barracks with us, that we only say goodbye to your physical body. But your history, your passion for service, dedication to your family, and your presence will be with us forever. It is time to say goodbye, between your silence and our voids, between memories and your absence,” he said.

He remembered the dedication, fatherly love, and companionship that characterized Israel Pérez, a great human being that everyone will miss; a man who felt a passion in his youth for emergencies, and who until the last moment never gave up.

As part of the protocol of this ceremony, a roll call was taken, followed by the ringing of the bell and the sound of silence by the war band.

Garcia thanked the relatives of Israel for their support in paying tribute to their colleague, being a way of thanking them for all the years of service in this profession.

In turn, Israel's wife, Karla Alejandra Torres Bernal, thanked the municipal authorities and all of the colleagues for all the support they gave her in life, recognizing that the Civil Protection area was her passion.

After the ceremony, Israel was transferred to the religious ceremony that took place in the parish of San Rafael Arcángel, located in the Lázaro neighborhood in Cardenas.
