Mayor Requests Residents of Versalles to Put Complaints in Writing

Mayor Jorge Quintero said that in the remainder of the administration, he will seek to solve some of the problems that afflict this neighborhood.

In order to listen to their concerns and seek possible solutions to the social problems that the Versalles neighborhood presents, this Wednesday afternoon the acting mayor, Jorge Antonio Quintero Alvarado, met with members of the neighborhood council and residents of this demarcation, making some commitments established to respond promptly to their requests.

The first mayor indicated that he was aware that there are many pending issues in the Díaz Ordaz and Versalles colonies, and mentioned that there is an openness to listen to the neighbors and see how to be able to solve the problems that afflict the settlers.

During the meeting, in which personnel from the Directorate of Strategic Projects were present, the neighbors pointed out problems such as invasion of sidewalks, lack of signage and parking, drainage, and other issues of collective interest.

In this context, Jorge Quintero asked the neighbors to submit their requests in writing, so that in the next session of the City Council an initiative can be presented that turns to commissions for analysis, thereby leaving a precedent for the next administration to do the corresponding follow-up.

He also said that in the remaining days of the government he heads, he will seek to solve some of the problems that exist in the Versalles and Díaz Ordaz colonies, mainly in Francia and Niza streets, respectively.

The residents appreciated the openness that the interim mayor has had to listen to the problems that afflict them not only in the Versalles neighborhood, but also in the Díaz Ordaz, as well as to seek a solution to their concerns.
