27 Companies Receive Responsible Jalisco Distinction of Good Labor Practices

In the fourth installment, the certification is granted to 27 Jalisco companies that receive the badge valid for three years for compliance with 27 regulations of the Federal Labor Law.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Jalisco (STyPS,) delivered the Responsible Jalisco Distinction of Good Labor Practices to 27 companies that participated in the fourth call open to all business sectors of the state, and that have complied with making changes in their processes to adjust to 27 regulations of the Federal Labor Law.

Marco Valerio Pérez Gollaz, head of the STyPS, highlighted “Today I want to tell you that we are practically the state most recognized, that it is the only state that brings this formal and specific dynamic. And that is how the country is taking it, with an assessment even from the ILO; Jalisco is being recognized for the labor issue worldwide," said the secretary at the event held in the MIND building, while fully following all health protocols.

Compliance with the labor regulations allows the work centers to increase competitiveness and generate decent working conditions, allowing Jalisco to continue with the Economic Reactivation.

He also informed the winners of the two bills presented by Governor Enrique Alfaro for the Labor Reform, which proposes the integration of a new structure for the resolution of labor disputes through the Conciliation Center and the Labor Courts.

Rubén Masayi González Uyeda, Coordinator of the Council of Industrial Chambers of Jalisco, explained that the participation of employers and workers in compliance with the labor law is a work of self-management, and that not only the benefit is for those who participate in the process, but also for the environment.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Alfonso Mojica Navarro, the director of the National Chamber of the Tequila Industry, assured that the culture of legality must always be present in companies.

"In our industry, one of the most deeply rooted and traditional in Mexico, over the years we have been concerned with being responsible for compliance with local regulations, but also international, which has allowed us a solid development and growth," he said.

With this fourth installment, there have already been 148 acknowledgments of compliance with federal regulations during the last three years.
