9 Magic Towns of Jalisco Featured in Tianguis de Pueblos Magicos 2021

This weekend, a virtual edition of the Tianguis de Pueblos Magicos will be held from Pachuca, Hidalgo.

To promote rural tourism and support the communities in the interior of the state, the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat (SECTURJAL,) together with representatives of the 9 Magical Towns of Jalisco, will participate from October 29 to 31 in this third virtual edition of the event.

With an agenda of more than 85 business appointments with travel agencies and tour operators, the agency and the municipalities with this distinction in the state are preparing to promote tourist recovery in Ajijic, Lagos de Moreno, Mascota, Mazamitla, San Sebastián del Oeste , San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Talpa de Allende, Tapalpa and Tequila.

In addition to the meetings with buyers, each of the nine towns will have a virtual stand to promote the tourist, gastronomic, and cultural attractions and the experiences that their municipalities offer to visitors.

“We are happy to be able to participate in the Pueblos Mágicos digital Tianguis because it is a window that allows us to maximize the exposure of our destinations in the interior of the state, so that they move towards recovery. Each of these jewels of rural tourism in Jalisco has its riches; from the gastronomic, architectural, cultural, and nature aspects that fascinate our tourists,” said the head of the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat, Germán Kotsiras Ralis.

During the tianguis, the state agency will attend business meetings, but will also support and provide accompaniment to the tourism directorates of these populations so that potential national and international buyers are provided with updated information.

In addition, this time there will be an online craft products store to provide artisans with opportunities to sell their works. Representatives from Tlaquepaque, Tapalpa and Tequila will participate in this space that will remain for a whole year.
