Now through December 29, and with a few exceptions, drivers can receive a 50% or more reduction on vehicle-related debts to the state.
The State Government, through the Ministry of Public Finance, informs that in order to support the individual and collective economy of Jalisco, and within the framework of "El Buen Fin," it will grant discounts to the entire population on their vehicular debts.
A 50% discount will be given for payments made in person on non-registration fines; imposed for infractions in matters of mobility, transit, and transport, as well as the surcharges generated corresponding to said sanctions, to the owners of registered vehicles, and imposed by competent state authorities in the matter. A 50% discount will also be given for late fees generated by the omission of payment of the annual registration fee and hologram for cars, trucks, vans, motor tractors, trailers and motorcycles, of both private and public service.
There is an exception of those infractions given for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and those that have to do with the invasion of exclusive lanes for public, collective, and mass transport.
You can receive a 55% discount for vehicular debt of the above criteria if you choose to make the payment through electronic or alternative means. To begin the process or to check your balance of fees, simply enter your vehicle’s plate number and serial number on the main page of the website:

It should be noted that the forgiveness will only proceed when the payment is made in a single exhibition of all the tax debts related to the corresponding vehicle, and is made within the validity period.
