All Mexican girls and boys from 6 to 12 years old, regardless of their economic, social, cultural, health, sex, gender, religion, or any other condition, who reside in the national territory, are eligible to participate in the contest. The works must be an original idea by the artist. The reverse should legibly contain all your information data: full name, age, address, telephone number, and the name and email of one of your parents or guardian.

 How to take part?

Choose a timber or non-timber forest species (tree, shrub or cactus) that is found in the ecosystems of the region where you live or that is representative of your community. Make sure it is not a cultivated fruit tree. Investigate its name, its main characteristics, and in a paragraph of 5 to 10 lines maximum, tell us how it can be used, how you relate to it, what feelings it provokes, or a story you know about the forest species you chose. You or your parents can write it on a sheet, by hand or on a computer, and paste it on the back of your drawing or painting.
