Conade Nationals Trampoline Gymnastics Concludes with 7 Golds for Jalisco

This Thursday at the Pan-American Gymnastics Complex of the López Mateos Sports Center, the trampoline gymnastics division of the Conade 2021 Nationals began, and Jalisco started off with a bang by winning two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.

 

Men’s 13-14 years 

Jaliscan Christian Salgado was proclaimed champion at the end of his routine with 50.560 points, leaving the silver for Sergio Murillo, of Baja California, and bronze for Axel Arízaga, also from Jalisco. The other gold for Jalisco came in the team category, thanks to a sum of 179.110 units, with Colima in second place and Veracruz in third place. 

Women’s 13-14 years 

In the women's division, the champion was Cassandra Toxqui from Nuevo León, who took the gold with 47.340 units, followed by Erika Torres from the capital and Renata Quintero from Jalisco. By teams, Nuevo León took the crown thanks to its 158.650 units. The silver went to Jalisco and the bronze to Veracruz.

The second day of the Conade Nationals represented a harvest of gold medals for Jalisco, as the auriazul squad won four gold medals out of the six that were available. 

Men’s 15-16 years 

Gold and silver were achieved in the 15-16 year category of individual competition, with Donovan Guevara receiving 52.985 points and Saúl Zúñiga earning 51.945. The bronze went to Alan Vázquez from Sonora. By teams, the gold medal was also achieved in this category, thanks to a score of 172.890, leaving Sonora with silver, and Veracruz with bronze. 

Women’s 15-16 years

In the individual modality of this category, Emilia Becerril from the capital took the gold with 45.735, followed by Patricia Rodríguez in second and Melissa Becuar in third, both from Sonora. Jalisco took the team gold medal, thanks to the 174.352 points obtained by Aixa de León and Gabriela González. The silver went to Mexico City and the bronze to Sonora. 

Men’s Synchronized 13-14 years 

It was in the men's synchronized competition where Jalisco obtained the fourth gold of the day, as the performance of Christian Salgado and Axel Arízaga earned 43.080. The silver went to Colima and the bronze to Baja California. 

Women’s Synchronized 13-14 years 

In the female branch of this modality, Rubí Cabrera and Ericka Marín won the gold with 39.490, surpassing Karina Palomino and Ximena García from Nuevo León, who obtained silver, and Renata Quintero and Alexa Colín from Jalisco obtained the bronze. 

This Saturday the trampoline gymnastics activities in the 2021 Conade Nationals concluded, with the celebration of the individual events of the 17-21 year category in both branches, as well as the 15-16 year synchronized, on a day where Jalisco said goodbye with one more gold medal to his account. 

Men’s Synchronized 15-16 years 

In the men's branch, the gold medal went to Jalisco, thanks to the performance of Saúl Zúñiga and Donovan Guevara, who added 42.680 to finish in first position, with Sebastián Luna and Alan Vázquez from Sonora in second, and Ángel Chaparro and Erick López from Veracruz in third place. 

Women’s Synchronized 15-16 years 

In the female branch, it was the Sonoran duo made up of Patricia Rodríguez and Melissa Becuar who took the gold with 41.610, just ahead of Jalisco's Aixa De León and Gabriela González, who earned 41.570. The bronze went to Camila Pavón and Grecia Rodríguez from Veracruz. 

Men’s 17-21 years 

In the men's branch, the gold medal went to Veracruz, thanks to the 54.545 points of José Hugo Marín Mata, champion of this discipline, followed by Roberto Aguilar, from Yucatán in second place , and the Jalisco Adrián Del Villar in third. 

Women’s 17-21 years 

In the women's individual competition, the gold medal went to Andrea Juárez de la Huerta from Veracruz, who won the competition with 48.150 units, leaving Daniela Cabello from the capital with silver, and Natalia Quintero from Jalisco with the bronze medal.
