Conditions in Puerto Vallarta Fishing remain much the same, but there are some improvements.
Red tide is not gone and we're seeing the return of the clean green water, but no blue water as yet. Striped Marlin and Sailfish are stil running the entire area, but they're stil not taking baits. i don't know if it's breeding season or if the massive amounts of bait are the issue. Either way there are still challenges to overcome. The good news is the water temperatures are ticking up slightly as we head into an El Nino year as we come out of a La Nina year. Fishing is still great for all the challenges as we inch our way into Fishing High Season. Blue water should be moving in soon as will Dorado and Marlin, and hopefully Yellowfin tuna!
